Initial look
We examine the watch under magnification and note what we find — condition of the case, crystal, movement, and strap area.
Discussion
We share what we found and discuss what the watch needs. Any variations from the standard price are agreed before work starts.
The work
All work is done in-house at our own bench. For longer jobs we message you at key stages so you know how things are progressing.
Collection
When your watch is ready, we let you know. Overhauls include a written summary of all work done and timing results.
Strap & Bracelet Fitting

A relaxed strap or bracelet change with sizing to the wrist, fresh spring bars, and a tidy clean of the lugs. Helpful for anyone refreshing the look of a watch or improving comfort. Usually completed while you wait. Includes guidance on caring for leather, rubber, or metal options.

Crystal Replacement

A careful replacement of a scratched or chipped crystal, matched to the original profile, with a reseal and a light polish of the bezel. Suited to watches that remain mechanically sound but have taken a knock. Turnaround is typically a few days. Includes a check of the gaskets at no extra step.

Full Overhaul & Refinish

Intended for pieces worn daily over many years. Scheduled over two to four weeks with updates along the way. Includes a final timing check and a written summary of the work.

Secure handling
Every watch is logged on arrival and kept in an individual tray. Nothing goes missing in a shared pile.
No unauthorised work
Any scope beyond what was agreed is discussed with you first. We do not add steps without permission.
Gaskets inspected when case is opened
Relevant to crystal and overhaul work — gaskets are checked and replaced where the condition warrants it.
Final quality check
Before a watch is returned, it is checked over to confirm everything looks and functions as it should.
Communication during longer work
For multi-day jobs, we stay in touch at natural checkpoints rather than leaving you to wonder.

We use materials suited to the watch. Crystals are matched to the original profile; lubricants appropriate to the calibre.
